Transport
It’s important that we encourage visitors to the town, so while supporting the use of public transport we also recognise the needs of motorists and businesses.
We campaigned successfully alongside residents, businesses and organisations, including the Marlow Chamber of Commerce and the Marlow Society, to overturn a plan to instigate paid-for parking in Marlow town centre.
We put forward detailed proposals for a decked parking area to alleviate the strain on parking in the town.
We supported BidCo regarding the introduction of yellow lines on the roads in and around Globe Business Park.

New cycle paths are now in use in and around the town, including from Marlow Bottom to Wycombe Road. We have a weekday town bus service and we’re working with First Great Western to improve the facilities at the railway station, including a ticket machine. Better lighting and CCTV have already been put in place.
Parking restrictions at junctions have been improved in 2015 and parking issues overall are under review with Wycombe District Council and Bucks County Council.
