Around 1,000 people attended this year’s Carols on the Causeway event in Marlow on Thursday, 15 December.
Children queued to see Father Christmas in his grotto, who was giving out Christmas chocolates courtesy of Marlow Town Council (MTC). The Marlow Town Band played everyone's favourite Christmas carols, joined by the voices of the Marlow Choral Society.
Members of the public enjoyed free mulled wine courtesy of the George and Dragon and mince pies donated by Waitrose and MTC, while The Rotary Club of Marlow provided free hot chestnuts and dispensed mulled wine along with soft drinks for the children.
Mayor Bob Johnson said: “Carols on the Causeway is always a lovely community event and this year was no exception.”
Marlow Town Council would like to thank The Rotary Club of Marlow, The George and Dragon, Waitrose, Marlow Town Band and Marlow Choral Society for their support.
