Following extensive damage, Marlow Town Council have re-laid the resin bonded gravel in the tree pit outside the Chequers pub on the High Street.
Why have we only repaired one?
Ideally all of the tree pits need their resin bonded gravel replacing, as they are currently damaged / cracked. However, there have been concerns about whether the tree pits have sufficient depth.
As this tree pit was in the worst condition, it was selected for a 'trial' repair to determine whether resin-bonded gravel will be suitably strong in the tree pits at the depth they allow.
